Saratoga Springs Gravity Sewer Project
Newman Construction completed the $9.2M Saratoga Springs Gravity Sewer Project — installing nearly 20,000 LF of large-diameter sewer pipe, a 14,000 GPM bypass system, and a 130-foot Jordan River bridge. Delivered on time, the project showcases our expertise in deep excavation, bypass engineering, and environmentally sensitive utility construction.

The Bluffdale 14400 South Reconstruction Project is one of Newman Construction’s most ambitious and comprehensive utility infrastructure undertakings. Located in Bluffdale, Utah, the project included over 7,000 LF of 18” PVC sewer installation, 5,000 LF of 12” culinary waterline, more than 3,100 LF of pressurized irrigation lines, and a complete storm drain system. Additional work comprised 60” lined manholes, new fire hydrants, jack-and-bore steel casings, utility service connections, and full roadway reconstruction involving 325,000 SF of asphalt paving. Landscape restoration and the removal and backfilling of a decorative pond further added to the project’s complexity.
Completed entirely by Newman Construction, the $12.45 million project was delivered on schedule and without disputes. The work highlighted the company’s ability to simultaneously manage multiple utility systems, roadway improvements, and public coordination. Dewatering, hydrovac techniques, and intricate trenching operations were employed to navigate varying soil conditions while ensuring safety and compliance with municipal standards.
This project reinforced Newman Construction’s position as a leader in integrated infrastructure development. Close coordination with Bluffdale City and other agencies emphasized the company’s role as a trusted municipal partner, capable of executing high-value, multi-scope civil projects that seamlessly combine utility and surface improvements.
