Newman Construction began with a one-ton truck, a shovel, and the relentless drive of William Paul Newman back in 1932. From hauling coal and soil by hand in Price, Utah, to installing some of the Salt Lake Valley’s first sewer systems in the 1950s, we’ve been building Utah’s backbone from the ground up for over 90 years. With every decade, we’ve pushed the industry forward—leading the way in equipment innovation, construction techniques, and jobsite excellence.
Now led by the third generation, Mark Newman, the company continues to grow while staying true to its roots: hard work, integrity, and a crew-first culture.
