Orem Heritage Park Utility Pipeline Project
Newman Construction is completing a $6.15M multi-utility pipeline project in Orem, UT, installing over 6,500 LF of large-diameter water and sewer pipelines along with extensive storm drain infrastructure and full-depth roadway reconstruction. The project highlights our expertise in managing complex, multi-utility work within congested urban environments.

In Orem, Utah, Newman Construction led a large-diameter pipeline project involving the installation of approximately 6,500 LF of 24” and 30” HDPE, various ductile iron pipelines ranging from 8” to 30”, and over 3,000 LF of RCP storm drain infrastructure. Average trench depths ranged from 5 to 15 feet, and all installations included fittings, valves, precast manholes, and a new PRV vault.
The storm system component consisted of 680 LF of 36” RCP and 1,000 LF of 30” RCP, along with eight 72” manholes and two pretreatment structures. Newman also managed full-depth asphalt roadway reconstruction, requiring close coordination with city inspectors and traffic control teams. The $6.15 million project, 95% self-performed by Newman, is scheduled for full delivery in early 2025.
This project demonstrates Newman Construction’s expertise in managing complex, multi-utility work within congested urban environments. The integration of storm, water, and sewer systems alongside road rehabilitation added to the project’s complexity and value.
