Newman Construction completed a $3.48M residential infrastructure project in South Jordan, UT, installing over 6,500 LF of sewer, 5,800 LF of water, storm drainage, and extensive roadway and sidewalk improvements. The project highlights our expertise in master-planned community infrastructure and multi-phase utility and surface construction.

In South Jordan, this residential development project included 27,625 CY of mass grading and the installation of over 6,500 LF of 8”-10” SDR-35 sewer with 46 manholes and 178 laterals. Storm drain work consisted of 1,220 LF of 18”-30” RCP and 11 combo boxes. The water system included 5,884 LF of 8”-12” C-900 pipe with 14 hydrants and 143 service connections.
Roadway improvements included 62,732 SF of asphalt with 8” base, 8,560 LF of curb and gutter, and over 11,000 LF of sidewalk. Newman Construction self-performed 90% of the $3.48 million project, completing all deliverables within the original construction timeline.
This project highlighted Newman Construction’s ability to manage infrastructure for master-planned communities. Their attention to grading, vertical and horizontal utility alignment, and multi-phase execution ensured a smooth and efficient build.
